From the Bedal's family
Bedal's Foundation Waterproofing & Masonry is a new division from the Bedal's family in Amherstburg. You may know our sister company, Bedal's Plaster & Drywall, which has been fixing walls and ceilings in Essex County homes since 1998. We started this division because, after years of repairing water-damaged walls and ceilings, we kept seeing the same thing: most contractors don't realize their outdated methods don't work. Tar spray, a quick patch, or a one-coat parge might look fine on the day, but water finds its way back in. We do it properly, with a full dig to the footing, a real membrane, drainage board and new weeping tile, so the problem is fixed from the outside and stays fixed.

How we work
- We fix causes, not symptoms. If water is coming from outside, we tell you, and we fix it from outside.
- We give straight answers. If a smaller repair will do, we'll say so.
- Written pricing, with HST shown. No surprise add-ons. Any change is agreed in writing before the work is done.
- Safety first. Trench protection on every dig, dust control when cutting, and crews that follow a written job procedure.
- Clean job sites. We protect your property, clean up daily, and leave the site tidy.
- Photos at every stage. You'll see what's behind the backfill.
